Nhaim Khoury

Nhaim (pronounced “Nah-eem”) Khoury is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Cengage Higher Ed. He oversees Content & Portfolio teams, as well as the North America Higher Ed and International go-to-market teams. In this role, Nhaim leads a global organization focused on driving growth through a product-led strategy and greater go-to-market effectiveness.

Nhaim previously served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Cengage Academic (CA) from January 2022 to May 2025. Under his leadership, the Secondary and Higher Ed businesses returned to growth and the CA business sustained growth for three consecutive years. Since joining Cengage Group in 2015, he has held several leadership positions within the U.S. Higher Ed business, including Senior Vice President of U.S. Higher Ed Strategy and Finance. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in transitioning the Higher Ed business to a digital-first strategy and successfully launching Cengage Unlimited.

Nhaim holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
