Nhaim Khoury

Nhaim (pronounced “Nah-eem”) Khoury currently serves as the Executive Vice President and General Manager, Higher Education and School at Cengage. He oversees Sales, Revenue Operations, Editorial & Learning and Content & Portfolio worldwide for Higher Education and School, with additional matrixed leadership across Product, Technology, Marketing and Finance. In this role, Nhaim is accountable for defining and delivering the mission, strategy, priorities and success metrics across global Higher Education and K-12 markets, serving learners, educators and librarians across the education continuum. His portfolio includes learning platforms powering secondary and post-secondary curriculum, as well as English language learning, library and college and career readiness solutions.

Since joining Cengage in 2015, he has held several leadership positions including Senior Vice President of Strategy and Finance. During his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in shifting from traditional publishing to a digital, platform-based model, including the launch of Cengage Unlimited and the introduction of AI-enabled tools across the portfolio.

Earlier in his career, Nhaim worked at McKinsey & Company advising technology and industrial companies on growth strategy and operational transformation.

Nhaim holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor's degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
