After immigrating to the U.S. and spending nearly a decade out of the workforce, Blandine was determined to rebuild her future in a new field and create better opportunities for herself and her daughter. Cengage’s flexible online courses and interactive digital learning tools helped her regain confidence, stay engaged and develop the technical skills she needed. With the support of these edtech tools, she completed a degree in Information Systems Technology, gained hands‑on experience through internships, earned industry certifications and is now launching a career in cybersecurity—showing how meaningful learning experiences can spark progress, open doors and prepare learners for the careers they aspire to.
