Cengage Selects Chegg to Deliver Cengage Unlimited’s Free Rental Program
Boston, Massachusetts—June 5, 2018—Cengage, an education and technology company, today announced that Chegg, the Smarter Way to Student™, will manage the free rental program of Cengage Unlimited, beginning in August.
Cengage Unlimited is the first-of-its-kind subscription that gives students access to more than 22,000 products across 70 disciplines and more than 675 courses for $119.99 a semester, no matter how many Cengage materials they use. Students using the digital platforms have the option of free print rentals, courtesy of Cengage, paying only a $7.99 fulfillment fee.

Beginning in August, if a Cengage Unlimited subscriber wants a print rental, this will be fulfilled by Chegg. Cengage Unlimited rental customers will be directed to a Chegg representative for support. The award-winning Cengage customer service team will focus on the expected increase in volume overall from Cengage Unlimited subscription purchases and related (non-rental) questions. Cengage will continue to directly handle non-Cengage Unlimited rentals.
