Cengage and EDGE Learning Media partner to expand access to learning for South Africa’s tertiary education students and instructors

Andover, Hampshire UK and Cape Town, South Africa – February 18, 2020 – Cengage, an education and technology company, and EDGE Learning Media today announced an agreement for Cengage to distribute EDGE’s catalogue of leading tertiary print textbooks into the South African public university sector, as well as in Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini.

EDGE’s focus on improving the student learning experience through local content in its suite of Southern African textbooks in Business, Finance, Accounting, Humanities, and Social Sciences, developed for South African education providers, complements Cengage’s portfolio.

Under the agreement, Cengage will partner with EDGE Learning Media as its sole sales agent of textbooks into the public tertiary education sector with immediate effect.
